​My old friend Massas (Noodles in Portuguese) has become quite the big wave superstar.  This I shot near his home town, while he and his protege Nic Von Rupp were out pulling into little barrels off the south end of the beach.  I still am not very good with a water housing - this was the only shot out the bunch that I really liked.
