One of my favorite shots of all-time. I was exploring Samoa with my family, and we visited the less-popultaed island of the Republic of Samoa, the island of Savai'i. On the North shore we found true tropical paradise. A small hotel on a beautiful sandy lagoon. My kids played in this lagoon all day. Towards the end of the day this leaf floated by in the clear water. I waded out to it with my medium format camera in hand, following it as it drifted around. I didn't see the image until I returned a few weeks later and my film came back from the lab. That's something I miss about film - the anticipation. Needless to day, when I saw this transparency for the first time, I was floored.
