​​The first collage I did in color.  I wanted to explore the strange water issues that Southern California represents, the paradox of planting a "paradise" in the desert.  The palm trees were new plantings along a boulevard in Los Angeles, the desert scene near Death Valley, and the hawk was taken off the internet.  I rendered the puddle using my painting skills.
