​Rife is a sometimes spot, taking just the right combination of tide and swell.  On this day the tide was just starting to be good, and no one was out, and I was checking it from the bluff.  The place is scary - it breaks over extremely shallow, sharp rocks.  A local fisherman/surfer drove up next to me and urged me to paddle out with him.  I snapped this after getting out of the water, with a few barrels under my belt.
