Location: San Francisco, CA

The ubiquitous shopping cart once again.  Could there be a better symbol of our consumption-driven world?  Am I strange to revel in their decay and  destruction?  This one looked like it had been sitting in the SF Bay for quite some time, having become habitat for all kinds of crustaceans.  Better that than bags of useless consumer items in plastic bags.  I took this in a not-so-nice area of the City, and had to constantly watch my back.  I kept wondering if my body would be dumped in this same section of bay.
